I’m still frustrated from last night, things happen in half-time I’m sick of the bends.

This short film was created by Lisa Eisner for Oliver Peoples and features folk musician Devandra Banhart. Again working with his real life partner Rebecca Schwartz, Banhart and his girlfriend are captured at their most intimate. Eisner sought to cast a genuine couple in homage to French New Wave classics like Godard’s Une Femme Mariée which were able to elicit chemistry unparalleled by actors. The film was shot in architect John Lautner’s 1961 Los Angeles creation, the Rainbow House, to the sounds of Banhart’s “Brindo” from 2009′s What Will We Be. Of course we shouldn’t forget the elegant selection of eyewear on show, courtesy of Oliver People’s latest collection.

See I’ve been, breaking hearts, for far too long
Been loving you, for far too long,
Making plans now, for far too long.
Yes I’ve been breaking hearts, for far too long
Loving you, for far too long,
It’s time I left, it’s time I’m moving on.
